Felix heads to California

Felix left on July 2nd with his Nana and Lolo for his very first plane ride to go to California. We had been talking to him about flying in the plane and the rules of staying in your seat and always wearing your seatbelt. He was super excited to ride on the plane. We were told that when they were above the clouds,Felix said "This is wear God lives" So cute. He has been fascinated lately about God.

A cousin of Jeff's is pregnant and had a baby shower on the 4th with all of the family and friends. It was a family reunion to say the least! They will be visiting for almost 2 weeks. They have been able to keep Felix busy though. They have taken him to the San Diego Zoo and then to Disney Land!! He was thrilled to see Mickey Mouse! We have been fortunate enough that cousins have been taking pictures for us and also sending us pictures via cell phones :)

I have to say that I started missing him the 2nd day of him being gone. It's amazing to see the difference in noise level when one child is out of the mix too. He's definitely having a great time and pretty soon, he'll be brought back to reality...July 14th that is!

Brotherly Love

Need I say more?

Tides Vs. Pawtuckett Red Sox

Jeff and I went to the local baseball game (Norfolk Tides Vs Pawtuckett Red Sox) with a couple of my mommy friends! It was Jacoby's 1st ball game!

A Day at the Beach

Tristian and I took the boys to Sandbridge Beach. I have never been there and I have to tell you, it was so nice!!! You are away from all of the tourists and you don't have to pay outrageous parking fees. There was a pier where we parked our things so we were out of the sun for the babies!
Eli, Felix and Aaron!
Eli and Aaron playing in the water!
Eli was very nervous when we first arrived. The waves scared him a bit and had the death grip on my hand. I made a game out of it when the waves came up to us, having him run through them. He warmed up to the idea of getting in the water and then really enjoyed himself.
"Catch me if you can"

Our local Toys R Us recently converted into a combined Toys/Babies R Us store and had a grand opening. I brought Felix, Eli and Jacoby to see the characters that were visiting. Felix was excited to see Geoffrey the Giraffe, Dora, Brobee, Dora, Arthur and Sunshine Bear!

I did take a picture of Felix with Dora looking at me, BUT Felix was VERY excited to see "Backpack" and "map" on Dora's back when we were leaving. He had to have a picture taken with Backpack :)

Are you wondering why you don't see Eli in any of these pictures? He was too busy hiding behind my legs he was so terrified! LOL, maybe next time!

UPDATED....Finally!

I thought I would have been able to keep up a bit better than I have been and that is why there are so many new posts all at once. There are so many things I think of that I want to do like Jacoby's birth announcements or clean out a closet/get rid of things that we don't use, clean out the garage, the list can go on and on, but somehow I get distracted or just can't do it because I have 3 little boys who need my attention seems like 24/7. One day it'll all get done, I hope! I'm lucky enough to be able to take a shower, do laundry, vacuum and have dinner done on most nights!

Anyhoo....Today, 6/5, I had taken Jacoby and Eli to the Dr's for their 2month and 2 yr old check ups. They both did fabulous. Both healthy and doing well. What I'm most impressed by is that Eli did not cry or flinch when he received his shot in the arm. He is such a trooper!!! Jacoby did a great job too and we were all there to comfort him! Felix knelt over him giving him kisses on the head as he go his shots (2 in one leg and 1 in the other).

Happy 2nd Birthday Eli! 6/3

We spent the morning celebrating Eli's 2nd Birthday
by bowling and then coming home to play in the
water in the backyard. We pulled out the big
blow-up waterslide for them to use. However,
Eli isn't too keen on climbing up it. He's content just
playing the little monkey pool we have ;)
Then had cake after dinner.

Eli is very much into trains right now. We have
some of the Take Along Thomas sets and he received
a few more diecast trains along with Morgan's Mine
Adventure set. He LOVES it and was so excited!

Felix and Eli playing together with the trains.

Cruising

Felix and Eli recently acquired an ATV ride-on
and a Diego Jeep ride-on which they absolutely
LOVE!!! Felix is cruising on his ATV while eating
a fruit pop along side Jeff as he mows the lawn!

Waterplay in the backyard

The firetruck sprinkler is a big hit!!!
THANK YOU Aunt Tristian & Uncle Ted!

Felix LOVES tormenting Eli! Can
you tell? Oh but, don't you worry..
Eli will get him back when he least
expects it!

Filling and dumping the water. Never
ending fun for a 2 year old!

Choo Choo at the Norfolk Zoo

After our ride on the train at the Norfolk Zoo,
Felix, Eli and their friend Quentin took advantage
of being able to take a picture infront of the engine
and being able to check it out. They were so stinking
excited to ride on the train!
Eli and his good buddy Quentin! They are 1 day a
part in age! Awesome to have such good friends and
close in age!

A Visit to The Children's Museum

This cool little slide in the museum lets Eli just zip
on down as you can tell by his hair flying
in the wind he catches!

Felix HAS to sit on the motorcycle everytime we
visit the museum!

Felix and Jacoby

I'm not often in pictures because I'm usually the one taking them. However, I was able to get this one of Felix and Jacoby with me :) OH! and you see the nice boo boo on Felix's nose? Compliments of Eli! Wacked him with a sandpail! Brotherly love :)

Felix's Last 2 weeks of School

Felix is leaving school on his last day carrying out his loot!
Thank you Mrs. Wainer and Mrs. Hronek for an awesome year!

Felix and his classmates (Eli included) have an
ice cream social and also celebrate the summer
birthdays of his friends on their last day of school.

Felix and his bud Evan! These two were inseperable
at the annual ODEDS (Old Donation Episcopal Day School)
park playdate/picnic! We were happy to learn that they
will both be in the same class next year as well!

A walk on the Boardwalk

Before the oceanfront became crowded with tourists, we took the boys down there for a stroll when we had some nice weather. Felix and Eli walked and ran oh, I'd say about 10-15 blocks one way. Played on the climber on the beach and then headed back. This picture I just love. Eli is just cheesing it up!!!

Strawberry Picking

Felix and Eli finding the perfect strawberries
Dad is helping with choosing
the best ones, though he doesn't
eat them himself ;)
Our 2 buckets of strawberries!
After getting home with them, I
received a recipe from a friend for
strawberry bread. It was pretty
yummy!

We have been really enjoying the warm weather, FINALLY, and took advantage of it. I dug out pavement paints and let Felix and Eli have at it. They LOVED painting all over the driveway including themselves!

May 3rd was Earth Day at Mt. Trashmore. It was our first time experiencing Earth Day there. The boys had fun looking at the birds, snakes, turtles, star fish, hermit crab and snail the local museums had at their tents. They liked most climbing the big Mt. Trashmore hill and rolling down it!

My 1st Bear

Aunt Michele (Auntie 'chel) has sent Felix, Eli and now Jacoby a Vermont Teddy Bear wearing decorative bloomers and a bib with their name on it. Jacoby proudly sits next to his bear. I'll add a picture of Felix & Eli with their bears soon.
